Luke's debut short story collection, Maybe It's Not Too Late, is available for pre-order now and will be published by Sulis International Press on December 1st.
Maybe It’s Not Too Late is a vibrant collection of short stories that delve into the raw, messy beauty of human connection, redemption, and the choices that define us.
South African-born singer-songwriter Luke Beling grew up immersed in the sounds of the 60s and 70s, influenced by the records his father played and the vibrant, tumultuous spirit of his homeland. Beling believes art should embody both the miracle and labor of life. Weaving everyday stories into modern folk songs, he hopes to impart something honest to his listeners.
In addition to his musical journey, Beling is also a published author. His debut novel, The Field of Plenty, was released in October 2024, and he is set to release his debut short story collection, Maybe It’s Not Too Late, on December 1st, 2025.
With a new album produced by Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, David Ramirez) slated for release in 2026, Beling continues to explore the intersection of music and storytelling.
